We’re excited to welcome a Senior Data Scientist who will bring deep expertise and leadership to our growing network of professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver cutting-edge data science solutions, focusing on time-series forecasting and computer vision tasks.
- Work extensively with geo-spatial Python stacks (e.g., xarray, dask, ZARR) and contribute to the development of scalable solutions.
- Leverage big data tools like Delta Lake and Databricks to handle complex data workflows.
- Utilize tensorial data tools (e.g., ZARR stack, Icechunk, TileDB) for high-dimensional analysis.
- Build and deploy models on cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement neural network solutions from scratch, showcasing deep technical expertise.
- Collaborate across teams to meet project goals and maintain strict adherence to timelines.
- Provide technical mentorship and lead initiatives that align with LyRise’s vision for impactful data science.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in time-series forecasting and computer vision.
- Hands-on knowledge of the geo-spatial Python stack (e.g., xarray, dask, ZARR).
- Expertise in big data tools (Delta Lake, Databricks) and frameworks.
- Familiarity with tensorial data tools (e.g., Icechunk, TileDB) is a plus.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Ability to lead and manage tasks across multiple technical stacks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering within tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to thrive in a remote-first environment.
