The Culinary Lab is the in-house production facility for latte concentrates (Ginger Zing, Secret Garden, Cacao Dream), pastries, soft serve, parfaits.Position Overview: Report to Culinary Creator & Commissary and Production Manager. Responsible for manufacturing, packing, and quality control of grab-and-go pastries and food, ensuring efficient, high-quality production. Requires large-scale food production experience, strong food safety background, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment. Growth opportunities as offerings expand.Responsibilities:Food Production & Quality Control: Prepare large-batch food/baked goods; ensure quality control; assist in recipe execution/testing/process improvements; maintain detailed recordkeeping (production, food safety, QC); assist with product development and process optimization; track/monitor production targets.Kitchen & Facility Management: Maintain cleanliness/organization; sanitize work surfaces/equipment; assist with EOM inventory, invoicing, metrics; support receiving/organizing inventory and order fulfillment; wash dishes, sweep/mop, handle recycling/trash.Operations & Team Collaboration: Create daily production task lists and delegate; provide feedback to prep team; suggest process improvements; run production events in Marketman; pack orders and manage labeling; assist with moving supplies/shipments/pallet jacks; communicate professionally with vendors/employees/visitors.Qualifications: Minimum 2 years in food manufacturing or similar; NYC Food Handler’s License (Required); strong work ethic, urgency, attention to detail; stand 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs; operate pallet jack; extreme cleanliness and strong food safety; HACCP or SQF preferred; authorized to work in U.S.; passion to grow with Matchaful.Job Details: Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time; Pay: $64,000 plus potential annual bonus; Expected Hours: 40/week (Mon–Fri); Schedule: 8-hour shifts.How to Apply: Submit resume and brief description to retail@matchaful.com explaining your fit.
