Responsible for preparation of in-house food offerings, cleaning/organizing, and working under Head Chef and Culinary Manager. Growth opportunities as offerings and café footprint expand.Role: 3–4 days/week minimum; prepare food to meet orders for all cafés daily; build prep kits and set up production; communicate on Slack about day-to-day tasks; follow best kitchen practices/protocols; accurately label/store food; maintain ingredient stocks; wash dishes and daily cleaning; commit to early hours; willing to obtain Food Protection Certificate if not certified; record production and kitchen waste; assist with EOM inventory counts.About You: Great team player; passionate about plant-based food and matcha; excellent communicator; hardworking/efficient; receptive to feedback; works well under pressure; stamina to stand long periods; ability to reach/stoop/bend and lift up to 50 lbs; attention to detail; loves organization and improving kitchen spaces; 2–3 years professional kitchen experience (commissary a plus); culinary school a plus (not required); Food Protection Certificate a plus; eager to learn and grow with Matchaful.How to Apply: Email resume and brief cover letter to retail@matchaful.com.
