Location: Matchaful Culinary Lab – Clinton Hill, BrooklynAbout Matchaful: Eight café locations across NYC; leading the plant-based matcha and food movement.Overview: The Culinary Production Leader reports to the Culinary Creator & Commissary and Production Manager and is responsible for manufacturing, packing, and quality control of grab-and-go pastries and food items. Requires large-scale food production experience, strong food safety background, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment. Growth opportunities as offerings and footprint expand.Responsibilities:Food Production & Quality Control: Prepare large-batch food and baked goods; ensure quality control; assist with recipe execution/testing/process improvements; maintain recordkeeping; support product development; track production targets.Kitchen & Facility Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization; sanitize equipment; assist with end-of-month inventory, invoicing, and tracking; receive/organize inventory; wash dishes; sweep/mop; handle recycling/trash.Operations & Team Collaboration: Create daily production task lists and delegate to prep team; provide feedback and development; improve processes to hit labor/production targets; run production events in Marketman; pack orders and manage labeling; assist with moving supplies/shipments and using pallet jacks; communicate professionally with vendors, employees, and visitors.Qualifications: 2+ years in food manufacturing or similar; NYC Food Handler’s License (Required); strong work ethic/urgency/attention to detail; stand 8+ hours; lift up to 50 lbs; operate fully loaded pallet jack; extreme cleanliness and food safety; HACCP/SQF preferred; authorized to work in the U.S.; passion to grow with Matchaful.Job Details: Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time; Pay: $64,000 plus potential annual bonus; Expected Hours: 40/week (Mon–Fri); Schedule: 8-hour shifts.How to Apply: Submit resume and brief description to retail@matchaful.com explaining your fit.
