We are looking for a caring and diligent Store Lead to join our growing team. As Matchaful’s Store Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the daily operations, people, and initiatives at our Prince St. store in Soho. You will help to ensure the highest level of quality for our incredible matcha-based wellness drinks and food, maintaining a pristine (and aesthetically amazing) environment, and upholding the highest level of service—all while forging unique connections with our staff and our customers. Salary Range $62,400–$65,400. Health benefits available. 5 days/week commitment. About You:- Strong leadership capabilities; respect for the art of matcha; extreme care for the café space; excellent communication and customer connection; pristine organization; incredible attention to detail. Core Responsibilities:- Lead matcharista team; attend biweekly manager meetings; maintain professional workplace, dress code and etiquette compliance; develop matcharista skills and provide weekly performance updates; ensure proper execution of menu/seasonal items; communicate written warnings; communicate via internal chat; manage café scheduling on Square Teams; ensure shifts are covered; maintain health inspection readiness and A grade; streamline drink-making; conduct daily quality checks; collect staff/customer feedback; monitor time cards in Square; organize storage; conduct inventory in Marketman; order milk and other items; ensure concentrates are prepared and labeled; enforce food waste record keeping; set and inspire daily/hourly sales goals; keep retail stocked and storefront beautiful; delegate tasks during slow periods. Required Qualifications:- 2+ years hospitality leadership; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; wellness background a plus; food handlers permit a plus.
