Head of E-commerce & Merchandising

What You'll Do:
- Serve as the General Manager across all sale channels (i.e Own the P&L)
- Drive the development and execution of overall DTC strategy and operating plan as we look to accelerate new customer acquisition efforts and existing customer engagement levels.
- Own ongoing DTC business reporting.
- Drive ongoing DTC website infrastructure optimization efforts (Site performance, Technology Stack, etc.).
- Drive front end DTC visual presentation upgrades (Merchandise presentation, Ongoing campaign presentation, etc.).
- Drive all Growth Marketing and Email Marketing efforts (with support from a front line team member and agencies).
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across merchandising, site operations, and customer experienceCoach and mentor team members to ensure individual growth and collective excellence
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketplaces to align on promotions, merchandising strategy, and shared KPIs
- Stay ahead of trends in e-commerce UX, merchandising, and digital storytelling to continuously raise the bar
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, operations, and analytics to ensure alignment and drive cohesive execution of DTC business objectives.
- Drive for deep understanding via a variety of market research tactics as we look to identify opportunities for differentiation and market expansion.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track ongoing DTC performance, and regularly report on progress to the executive team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive E-commerce management/optimization experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing/scaling E-Commerce efforts and proven track record of delivering a front end visual presentation that is designed to surprise and delight our customers.
- Strong creative streak - a natural brand storyteller.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for marketplaces and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Comfortable leveraging emerging AI solutions to drive increased levels of operational efficiency.
- Experience operating in the Apparel industry is a major plus.
