Trade Shows & Events
- Lead planning and execution of trade shows and industry events — including negotiation, vendor/partner coordination, booth activations, and lead management.
- Be on the ground gathering video and written testimonials, creating shareable content, and driving customer engagement.
- Develop structured post-event follow-up campaigns to maximize conversion and measure ROI.
Partner Acquisition & Activation
- Identify, recruit, and onboard industry partners — including sales reps, planners, and service providers — into Max Retail’s referral network.
- Build referral enablement programs and toolkits that make it easy for partners to successfully refer retailers.
- Activate and nurture partners through ongoing communications, education, and recognition campaigns.
- Track referral performance and optimize incentives to increase partner engagement and retailer acquisition.
Customer Engagement & Community Building
- Own and execute the communications calendar across email, social media, and in-app channels.
- Drive all proactive owned social media efforts.
- Respond directly to customer inquiries and engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Develop programs to highlight and amplify customer success stories, turning sellers into brand advocates.
- Create surprise-and-delight moments that strengthen relationships and foster loyalty.
Content & Storytelling
- Capture, edit, and distribute customer video and written testimonials for use in campaigns and across digital channels.
- Generate user-focused content during events and community activations to keep our story fresh and authentic.
- Ensure all messaging is timely, relevant, and designed to convert.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance, conversion rates, referral activity, and ROI across events, partner programs, and channels.
- Provide regular insights and reporting to leadership on what’s working, what’s not, and where to double down.
- Continuously refine community and partner engagement strategies based on data and feedback.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, community engagement, or partner/field marketing roles. (ideally with a focus on small businesses).
- Proven success planning and executing trade shows or field activations.
- Experience acquiring, onboarding, or managing referral partners or industry networks.
- Strong track record of managing customer-facing communications and social media engagement.
- Comfort being “in the field” — talking to customers, capturing testimonials, and creating content in real time.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and a bias for execution.
- Passion for supporting independent retailers and building authentic community connections.
