"It takes a village to raise a child." Mello brings the village back into our modern lives and reinvents parenthood with a sharing-economy and community approach. The app matches local parents, based on the age of their children and their interests - in a safe space with verified members. The neighbourhood feed makes it easy to exchange favours, organise playground-hangouts and discover local businesses that cater to families. Parenting has become increasingly challenging, and Covid-19 has reinforced the importance of digital communities. The Mello app gives families the chance to organise digital playdates and virtual meetups. This opportunity to “buddy up” with a trusted nearby family to get the support needed is now more important than ever before.
