Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Officer with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer service. You will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide first-line technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues (e.g., connectivity, login, and system errors).
- Assist in setting up new user accounts, profiles, and access permissions.
- Support the maintenance of IT assets, inventory, and documentation.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.
- Provide support for meetings and virtual conferencing tools.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in IT support.
