We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join us on a path of growth, working to solve one of the most challenging problems for the environment!

Movopack is a visionary packaging start-up company active in the booming reusable packaging business. We tackle the single-use plastics issue by providing retail and e-commerce brands with a circular packaging service, both improving their sustainability footprint and elevating their business.

About the job:

In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming client ideas and Sales briefs into appealing products that embody Movopack's distinctive characteristics. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic approach, demonstrating proficiency in guiding projects from the prototype phase through to the delivery of the final product. Effective communication with internal teams, and managing relationships with external suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Client Collaboration: Interprets client briefs and collaborates with the Sales team to translate ideas into compelling and attractive products.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: work closely with graphic designers, as well as teams in sales and marketing, to develop comprehensive plans for product release.
• Product Analysis: conduct thorough analyses of product and material alternatives to ensure optimal design solutions.
• Supplier Management: research and establish relationships with new suppliers, while maintaining strong ties with existing ones.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme
• Eligible for CURRICULAR internship
• Free to start from September 2024
• Strong creativity, design, and communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Suit, familiarity with 3D design software
• Preferably, prior experience in the packaging sector

Nice to have:

Candidates with previous experience with sustainable-oriented products/systems will be given priority, but we will nevertheless consider any candidate who shows strong conviction.
