Musa is building the orchestration layer for African SME finance. We believe capital isn't scarce—it's misrouted. We are building the decisioning infrastructure to assess fundability, sequence capital, and coordinate multi-financier stacks (Debt, Equity, Mezz, Guarantees).

We need a sharp, structured thinker to help build and test this decisioning engine in the real world.

This is a hybrid of SME credit analysis, capital structuring, venture finance and systems design. You won’t just analyze deals; you will help define the logic that determines how capital should flow to thousands of businesses.

• Assess Readiness: Review SME financials (QuickBooks, bank statements, tax) to identify cash-flow quality and financing blockers.
• Design Stacks: Help draft practical financing pathways across multiple lenders and instruments.
• Encode Logic: Convert recurring financing judgment into structured rules, thresholds, and decision trees for our engine.
• Validate with Lenders: Work with banks, DFIs, and investors to stress-test our structures against their actual underwriting rules.

• Experience: 3–7+ years in credit underwriting, audit (e.g., Big 4), transaction advisory, venture finance, or DFI/guarantee structuring.
• Systems Thinker: You don't just see a spreadsheet; you see the rules and patterns that make a deal work.
• Analytically Rigorous: Expert in Excel and financial statement analysis; you spot inconsistencies and red flags others miss.
• Pragmatic: You understand why lenders say "no" and how to structure a "yes."

You will help define a new category of financial infrastructure. This is a high-visibility role at the core of our product, working directly with founders and senior financiers to unlock capital at scale.
