Mushroom Material has developed a mushroom based solution that directly replaces expanded polystyrene (styrofoam) and other plastic based materials. It has great impact resistance as well as thermal and acoustic insulation, whilst being 100% sustainable and home compostable. We're the only company on the market that has solved the problem of production at scale through a pellet method that can be used in existing moulding machinery.
