Technical Recruiter (Contract to Hire)

What you'll do:
- Own and drive full-cycle hiring for technical (Engineering, Product and Design) and occasionally G&A roles, from kickoff to close
- Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role needs and define hiring success
- Source, engage, and manage top-of-market candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem
- Create outstanding candidate experiences with thoughtful and responsive communication
- Guide hiring teams through structured interviews and effective debriefs
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Narmi, bringing our mission and values to life for every candidate
- Build and maintain structured interview plans in Lever (our ATS)
- Support consistent and inclusive hiring practices across the company
- Deliver compelling offers and close candidates effectively
- Contribute to a growing recruiting function: this isn’t just an execution role
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally at a startup or fast-paced company
- Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements, and how to communicate them clearly
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing high-caliber candidates
- Experience managing pipelines in an ATS (we use Lever) and staying organized across multiple reqs
- Ability to build trust with hiring managers and candidates alike
- Experience running offers and negotiations independently
- Commitment to inclusive hiring practices and a diverse candidate pipeline
- Experience recruiting at both a startup and an agency
- Exposure to Series A–C company environments and scaling teams
- Familiarity with the NYC tech talent market
