About NDITIVE

NDITIVE Technologies Inc. is a Newfoundland and Labrador-based deep-tech startup developing an intelligent, edge-AI multi-gas sensing platform for industrial safety, environmental monitoring, marine, offshore energy, mining, and defence-related applications.

Our platform combines advanced gas sensing hardware with AI-driven analytics to help organizations detect, analyze, and respond to hazardous gas risks in real time.

Role Overview

We are hiring an Executive Sales Associate to support NDITIVE’s commercialization, customer discovery, and business development activities for our advanced sensing technology.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is interested in technology commercialization, sales, market research, customer engagement, and startup growth. The successful candidate will help identify potential customers, qualify leads, support outreach campaigns, prepare sales materials, and maintain CRM records.

This position may be supported through the NRC IRAP Youth Employment Program, which supports young graduates working on innovation-related projects such as market analysis, business development related to science and technology, product/process development, and customer service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer discovery and outreach with companies in marine, offshore energy, mining, industrial safety, environmental monitoring, and defence-related sectors.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers, pilot partners, integrators, and strategic collaborators.
  • Maintain CRM records, lead lists, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support preparation of sales decks, capability statements, email campaigns, and customer-facing materials.
  • Research target markets, competitors, buyer needs, and relevant industry events.
  • Assist with follow-up from conferences, trade shows, accelerators, and partner meetings.
  • Support development of market validation reports and commercialization documentation.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to refine NDITIVE’s go-to-market strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary graduate in business, commerce, marketing, communications, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in technology, startups, industrial innovation, or clean/defence technology.
  • Comfortable conducting outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

NRC IRAP Youth Program Eligibility

Because this role may be supported by NRC IRAP, applicants should be able to confirm that they are:

  • 15 to 30 years old at the start of the placement;
  • a post-secondary graduate;
  • a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or person granted refugee/protected status in Canada;
  • legally entitled to work in Canada;
  • available for a 6–12 month placement at a minimum of 30 hours per week;
  • a first-time participant in a YESS work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, customer service, or event outreach.
  • Experience with CRM tools, HubSpot, Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn, Canva, or email marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of industrial sectors such as energy, marine, mining, environment, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Interest in AI, sensors, cleantech, industrial safety, or defence innovation.
