VP of Strategic Partnerships

About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to lead our efforts in building and nurturing long-term partnerships with employers, payers, and providers. This role is not about transactional selling — it’s about building trust, creating win-win outcomes, and driving sustainable growth for both our company and our customers. You will be the senior-level point person responsible for cultivating relationships that open doors, deepen engagement, and position us as a trusted partner in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and maintain deep relationships with executives at employers, payers, and providers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring alignment between their strategic goals and our solutions.
  • Identify and develop partnership opportunities that drive long-term value, not one-off wins.
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” internally, collaborating with product, marketing, and leadership to shape offerings.
  • Establish a reputation for credibility, trust, and relationship-first engagement that drives adoption and loyalty.
  • Act as a connector, opening doors to decision makers through relationships and strategic introductions.
  • Support business development strategy and help establish scalable partnership models.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, account management, or partnerships within healthcare (employers, payers, or provider networks) is a plus but not a necessity
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain senior-level relationships (VP, SVP, C-suite) over time.
  • Strong reputation for integrity, collaboration, and “win-win” partnership building.
  • A natural connector with a broad and trusted network
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment: resourceful, entrepreneurial, and motivated to build from the ground up.
  • Passionate about healthcare innovation, pain management, and improving patient outcomes.

Compensation:

  • $6,000 a month starting salary
  • Commission based incentives based on mutually agreed upon KPI's achieved
  • Vested equity to be an integral component in the growth and future of Nerveli
