About

We're looking for an entry-level Data Analyst to support analytical needs across Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Finance — pulling data, building reports, and answering ad hoc questions for these teams. This is a rare entry point into analytics: you'll get exposure to nearly every part of how a fintech credit card business runs, from underwriting and fraud to marketing and finance. For someone smart and driven, there's real room to grow well beyond this role.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and manipulate data from Redshift using SQL to support requests from Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against large, sometimes complex datasets, and QA outputs for accuracy before sharing
  • Turn around ad hoc data requests quickly, clarifying requirements with stakeholders as needed
  • Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards in Tableau/Metabase across portfolio performance, fraud trends, collections, marketing campaigns, and operational metrics
  • Monitor existing dashboards and reports for data quality issues or breaks, and flag or fix them

Requirements

  • Must include your JEE (Advanced or Main) rank and/or CAT percentile (if either were taken) in your resume
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, math, computer science, engineering, or similar) required, or equivalent practical experience; Master's preferred
  • Working proficiency in SQL
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Available to overlap 1-2 hours daily with US Pacific business hours
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support day-to-day analytical work
