Role Overview

This hybrid role is designed as an entry-level growth position that blends Application Support and Junior Development responsibilities. The role provides first-line customer support while building foundational software development skills. The individual will work closely with Support and Development teams, gain hands-on exposure to Royal’s applications, and progressively transition into deeper technical and coding responsibilities over time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and incidents via the ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
  • Provide first-line application support by proactively troubleshooting and resolving application issues related to workflows, configuration, and system behavior.
  • Hands‑on experience reading, debugging, and enhancing existing C#, HTML, CSS, web forms, and JavaScript codebases
  • Collaborate with senior support staff, developers, product teams, and cross-functional partners to resolve complex issues and understand technical design specifications and functional requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to understand issues and business needs, represent those needs accurately in internal communications, and build strong rapport with clients and colleagues while balancing multiple priorities
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, communication, and responsiveness.
  • Assist with developing, testing, and supporting custom configurations, workflow enhancements, and configuration updates within Royal applications.
  • Build understanding of web security principles and data integrity best practices.
  • Assist with customer and internal training sessions (formal or informal).
  • Help design and deliver customized analytical reports for customers.

  • Recently graduated (or are graduating soon) with a Computer Science or related degree
