We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager or Lead Product Manager to join our Product team and work on exploring, shaping, and building the future of business banking. You will be responsible for building out Novo’s card and payments systems that enable customer to seamlessly spend money through cards products.

You will work with engineering, design, operations, risk, data science, compliance, and other teams to achieve the business's strategies and objectives. What you’ll be doing

You will help them shape the strategies and help deliver an AI-first customer experience to Novo’s small business owners. You will achieve this through:

  • Drive adoption and usage of Novo’s card products including debit card and credit card
  • Work with product teams, underwriting data science, risk, finance, and other teams to understand the needs of teams managing financial products
  • Own OKRs and build a roadmap for card capabilities based on the needs of future financial product launches and our ambitions for scale and speed to market
  • Own key measurements (KPIs) of Novo’s card products adoption and performance and work to develop a measurement feedback loop into the roadmap to improve continuously
  • ​Operate cross-functionally and build strong partnerships both within Novo and with external vendors to deliver excellent products and services
  • Manage the entire cards product life cycle from ideation to planning, execution, and launch
  • Creatively testing assumptions and ideas using surveys, internal working sessions, prototypes, and data to quickly build or remove confidence in solutions related to debit and credit cards
  • Working with the functional areas to prioritize solutions and working with design and engineering resources to deliver them from start to finish
  • Collaborating extensively with stakeholders (data science, risk, legal & compliance) on opportunities and solutions to drive the credit business (underwriting models, originations, draws, etc.)
  • Peforming end-to-end data analysis on product fit and any launch impacts on our user base
  • Work closely with product marketing to promote any offering and execute Go To Market functions

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience of overall experience in the technology industry
  • 4+ years of experience in payments space (credit card & debit card issuance)
  • 4+ years of experience in a product management position
  • Experience with risk and fraud teams applying data science to solve card payment problems
  • Experience with small business financing or other financial products
  • Proven track record delivering products with demonstrable contribution to business outcomes
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization

Salary Range (NYC): 210-250K annualized salary. This range is not inclusive of discretionary bonus or equity package, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. The range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of New York City.
