We are looking for an Analyst to join our S&A Credit team to scale and optimize the performance of our credit product suite. If you're passionate about using data to make a positive impact in the small business banking space, then we want to chat.

About the Role:

You will play a crucial role in delivering data-driven strategies for our potential and existing customers across our credit product suite: Novo Business Credit Card and Novo Funding. You will also collaborate with a talented team of analysts, product managers, and data scientists with dotted line responsibility for credit product marketing and operations to properly execute the strategies, resiliently grow our products, and help identify future lending product opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Owning credit product unit economics, underwriting policies and models

• Identifying new opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements from both credit policy and product strategy sides

• Analyzing data to generate actionable insights that inform product roadmap, marketing spend, and lending capital investments

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Risk, to implement and evaluate current and future initiatives

• Taking ideas from concept (0) to market (1) to get real-world feedback and refine established strategies based on actual performance

• Working with finance to manage relationships with capital markets, vendors, and bank partners

Requirements for the Role:

• 1.5+ years of experience in credit analytics roles at leading financial institution or fintech

• Deep experience with credit card or loan unit economics and P/L drivers, multiple types of lending products a plus

• Hands-on experience with credit model development, deployment and usage

• Proficiency in SQL

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to coherently communicate the resulting recommendations and deliverables

• Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity

• Proven track record of professional success from junior to senior analyst

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience overseeing the performance of a revolving credit product portfolio

• Experience in high-growth startup

• Proficiency in Python

Salary Range (NYC): $ 125,000 - $ 135,000 annualized salary. This range is not inclusive of discretionary bonus or equity package, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
