We are developing biocomputing applications, which use real and virtual biological tissues as substrates for intelligent computing in a similar way to traditional AI. We are focussed on neural and mycelial tissues for compute. Biocomputing systems are vastly more energy and data-efficient that current AI, while also being capable of continuous learning and do not suffer from catastrophic forgetting. We wish to build a platform that can service the AI needs of distributed sensor networks, autonomous robotic systems and provide on energy, data and space efficient AI in remote locations.
