Job Title: Wellbeing Coach (Mental Health)
Manager: Giovanna Poscé, Senior Project Manager
Compensation: $115-140 per workshop; $40 per non-workshop hour (training, content development, etc.)

Role Overview:
As a Wellbeing Coach specializing in Mental Health, you’ll be an integral part of delivering impactful workshops aimed at improving mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, communication, and mindfulness. You'll be trained to lead On the Goga’s proprietary workshops in our emotional and social wellbeing pillars, on topics like stress management, connection, mindfulness practices, and mental health awareness for employees at all levels. Generally, you can expect to facilitate between 1 and 5 workshops per month.
The ideal candidate:
- Brings high energy and engagement, ensuring participants leave the workshop with practical, actionable insights.
- Is an experienced and thoughtful facilitator in a virtual setting, adept at leading discussions around mental health in a way that is inclusive, supportive, and compassionate.
- Cultivates a safe and open learning environment where participants feel empowered to share and ask questions.
- Is able to field incoming questions and comments appropriately, sparking conversation throughout the presentation.
- Has a deep understanding of the relationship between mental health, emotional intelligence, and positive work environments.
Key Responsibilities:Workshop Facilitation:
- Facilitate interactive virtual workshops on Mental Health and Wellbeing topics from the On the Goga workshop library, including stress management, work-life balance, mindfulness, and emotional resilience.
- Engage participants in meaningful discussions, encouraging participation and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Coordinate with the On the Goga Program Team for seamless scheduling and ensure all logistics, such as session preparation and technical setup, are well-executed.
- Maintain clear communication with the On the Goga Team to ensure high-quality delivery and participant satisfaction.
- Ensure your availability is updated through Google Calendar and Calendly for automated workshop scheduling.
Training & Development:
- Participate in training sessions and monthly Coach Team meetings to stay aligned with On the Goga’s best practices and continuously improve your facilitation skills.
- Submit feedback through open forum and Post-Workshop Surveys to contribute to ongoing improvements.
Optional - Content Development:
- Contribute to the development of new workshop materials and video/audio content for the On the Goga Wellbeing Hub, if interested.
- Collaborate with the team on marketing materials or other content creation projects, based on your expertise and company needs.
Qualifications:
- Mental Health Expertise: You are a certified mental health educator, with a degree other relevant qualifications Mental Health, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields. You bring practical, real-world experience to your facilitation.
- Experienced Virtual Facilitator: You are skilled at leading virtual workshops for diverse groups, with a focus on creating inclusive, safe spaces for open dialogue.
- Technology Expertise: You have experience using video conferencing tools like Zoom and are comfortable troubleshooting any tech-related issues that may arise during sessions.
- Engaging Presenter: You are confident in your ability to communicate effectively, make complex mental health concepts relatable, and encourage practical application of workshop insights.
- Highly Organized: You are able to manage your calendar availability and ensure that scheduling is seamless through tools like Google Calendar and Calendly.
- Strong Communicator: Your verbal and written communication skills are top-notch, ensuring clarity and engagement throughout your workshops.
- Physical Presentation Space: You have a dedicated area in your home from which you can facilitate workshops with the appropriate technology setup. A small stipend can be provided to enhance your space if needed, but the basic layout must meet our QA standards.
