The Workday Education in Market team is a global team of experienced professionals, whose goal is to help encourage our customers and partners to leverage Workday Education's offerings, to enable their teams to make the most out of Workday.

About the Role

Workday continues to build out a high performing Global Education organization and is looking for an experienced Education Business Development Manager to help grow our Education business. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our Education team and our field sales and services teams.
You will partner with our field teams to represent Education in incorporating Education into the sales cycle for existing Workday customers. You will assist in developing a scalable, one to many approach to help ensure Education gets brought up in these add-on sales opportunities.
In addition, you will work closely with our Workday Education marketing, operations and business development teams to execute on strategies to drive existing customers to appropriately use Workday Educations’ training offerings.

You will have a deep understanding of Workday Education’s training offerings and will be consultative with our prospects and customers on how best to take advantage of all we have to offer.

  • Your responsibilities:

    • Partner with the local sales teams to ensure that Education is appropriately represented in all sales conversations

    • Support negotiations with regional sales teams and customers

    • Hold authority to approve discounts on Workday Education offerings sold to customers in region

    • Collaborate with professional Services Executive teams to align the training solution with the professional services required for a customer to deploy Workday

    • Analyze the regional pipeline to identify key sales opportunities

    • Provide guidance to both the regional and global Workday Education teams on customer demand to determine Workday Education capacity needs

    • Support customer and partner requests for guidance around training recommendations both directly with customers and partners as well as through Workday’s field facing teams in region

    • Assist the Global Workday Education Business Development Team in developing new programs to assist in selling Workday Education offerings

    • Point of contact for Education contract reviews from customers

§ Atender las solicitudes de asistencia de clientes y partners en relación con las recomendaciones de capacitación, tanto directamente con los clientes y partners como a través de los equipos de campo de Workday en la región.

§ Asistir al equipo de Global Workday Education Business Development en el desarrollo de nuevos programas para ayudar a vender las ofertas de Workday Education.

§ Servir como punto de contacto en las revisiones de contratos de Educación por parte de los clientes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a Business Development, Education or Professional Services sales role
  • Experience selling in an overlay or channel sales role

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to analyze data, reports and dashboards and a willingness to “dive into” systems and formulate new and better ideas on how to better support teams

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Cualificaciones básicas
