About Product Acceleration & Optimization (PAO)PAO is a high-impact team within Workday’s Product & Technology (P&T) organization, dedicated to accelerating delivery and maximizing customer value. Our mission is to reduce the cost and complexity of deployment by advancing our deployment tooling, operationalizing AI-powered assistants and agents, and equipping the delivery ecosystem with the information and resources needed to launch new products, acquisitions, and features effectively. We work closely with strategic customers and high-priority pursuits to break down barriers to selling, deploying, and expanding the value of Workday across our global customer base.
About the Role
About the Role: Senior Product Advisor Manager, oCIO
We’re seeking a strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking Senior Product Advisor Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on reducing deployment costs, accelerating adoption of new innovations, and enabling successful outcomes for Workday’s most strategic customers. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer success, and innovation delivery—with a focus on Workday Extend and Orchestrate.
As the Senior Product Advisor Manager, you will guide a team that:
- Drives down deployment costs by improving tooling, activating AI-powered deployment assistants and agents, and shaping the product roadmap based on real-world deployment insights.
- Partners closely with early adopters, strategic customers, and high-stakes sales pursuits to design solutions and ensure deployment success.
- Influences product development by bringing deployment-centric feedback into the design process to improve scalability, configurability, and time-to-value.
- Builds and shares scalable deployment best practices for new products, acquisitions, and features to empower the broader Workday ecosystem.
- Aligns and coordinates across key stakeholder groups including Product Management, Services, Education, Customer Support, Strategy, and Pre-Sales.

About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years deployment, solutions development, or technical consulting experience with Workday products.
Demonstrable domain expertise in Workday Extend or Orchestrate.
Excellent business acumen and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 10-20% under normal conditions.
Other Qualifications
Experience in an agile work environment.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate with multiple partners across a diverse organization.
Experience in solutions development and technical consulting.
Capacity to consolidate and prioritize input from multiple sources.
Prior people leadership experience preferred.
