We are in search of a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Principal Business Architect, Experience. Reporting directly to our Director of GTM Technology & Architecture, this pivotal role is responsible for formulating and implementing a robust experience strategy to elevate our technology solutions. You will play a meaningful role in identifying and remediating seller friction points, leading the design of intuitive and intelligent workflows, and collaborating closely with multi-functional partners to ensure adoption of experience-enhancing capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding business processes, a consistent track record in user experience and business architecture, and a comprehensive grasp of how technology can optimize seller productivity.
You will be responsible for:
Architecting the vision for an unparalleled user experience, identifying friction points and opportunities for innovation within critical seller workflows (e.g., account planning, opportunity management, quoting).
Collaborate with leadership and operations to lead the design of seller workflows, using AI, process re-engineering, and user feedback to reduce administrative burden and improve seller productivity.
Championing the implementation of GTM capabilities, ensuring improvements in Seller NPS, reduced administrative time, and high team adoption.
Establish and govern feedback mechanisms with sellers and leadership to deeply understand evolving needs and synthesize these insights into actionable priorities.
Collaborate closely with Principal Architects, Product, and BT teams to ensure seller experience strategies are foundational to our core tech stack.
Stay ahead of the latest trends, innovations, and methodologies in user experience design, sales technology, and AI for GTM.
Be able to function efficiently in an upbeat, fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail to drive impactful outcomes.
About You
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of experience in a strategic role passionate about GTM systems, business architecture, or user experience transformation.
8+ years of proven track record architecting technology solutions in a sophisticated GTM environment.
Other Qualifications
Deep familiarity with the architecture of CPQ solutions, Sales Engagement Platforms, Forecasting tools, and AI-driven sales intelligence platforms.
Validated experience conducting user research and translating sophisticated user needs into clear, actionable architectural requirements.
Background in leading strategic adoption for new enterprise technologies and driving sophisticated change management.
Strong meeting facilitation skills, strategic storytelling ability, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-directed individual who actively seeks information and collaborates to drive outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience; portfolio/case studies showing GTM metric improvements are a plus.
Strong understanding of GTM business systems, workflows, and processes (e.g., lead-to-cash, account planning, opportunity management, quoting).
Success in defining and implementing user experience vision and strategy at an enterprise scale, leading to improvements.
Excellent executive communication and collaborator leadership skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and lead sophisticated initiatives as part of a collaborative team.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
