About the Role
Workday is hiring a versatile Senior Associate Operations Specialist for our Partner Operations Team.
This role requires a candidate with a strong partnership approach to serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with Partner and Sales Executives on deal strategy and problem-solving to facilitate the closure of standard and non-standard deals. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include facilitating communication across Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Partner Operations, Deal Operations, and Sales teams. The role also involves performing deal calculations in the quoting tool and potentially offline in MS Excel/Google Sheets, as well as preparing and modifying contract documents and managing the negotiation process, including commercial document redlines.
This position operates on a flexible model, requiring approximately 50% in-office and 50% remote work each fiscal quarter.
About You
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable researching and finding solutions to a sales proposal.
Comfortable making independent decisions related to Workday contracting and commercial terms.
Ability to quickly prioritize and complete work.
Great Workday ambassador, demonstrating our core values and contributing to a strong and positive Workday culture.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience or more working in Partner Operations, Sales Operations, Deal Management, or Renewal Management.
It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Strong proficiency with Salesforce and Apttus.
Ability to manipulate formulas in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Experience responding to contract edits, AKA "red lines."
Demonstrated experience working with a fast-paced Sales team.
Experience facilitating deal completion with adjacent teams, such as Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Deal Operations.
