About The Role
We’re now looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join us for a 6–12 month fixed‑term contract and help shape the next chapter of our people experience. This role is ideal for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves and get close to the business - partnering with leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, marketing and sales. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor who understands the rhythm of an operational FMCG environment and supports leaders in a way that’s practical, people‑centred and commercially aligned.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring teams are set up for success and that our people experience continues to strengthen during this period of growth and activity, providing collaborative support that enables our operational and commercial teams to thrive

What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with leaders to support teams across multiple sites and functions
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice on Awards, employee relations matters and operational people issues
- Support leaders through performance conversations, development planning and team effectiveness
- Lead and contribute to engagement and culture initiatives that make SunRice an even better place to work
- Assist with key P&C activities such as talent processes, remuneration cycles and reporting
- Build trusted relationships with people at all levels - from frontline teams to senior leaders

You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience partnering in FMCG, operational, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and Award frameworks
- A confident, practical approach to ER issues and performance management
- The ability to quickly build rapport, influence stakeholders and navigate complexity
- A proactive, positive mindset
