The HRIS Specialist is responsible for shaping the employee experience in collaboration with HR colleagues, while driving initiatives that enhance the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of HR operations.

By leveraging employee feedback, data insights, and leading practices, the role ensures that HR processes enable the HR team to operate effectively and deliver strong service to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

Reporting, Analytics & Data

  • Manage the regular production of HR reports in partnership with relevant HR stakeholders, and develop custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for decision‑making
  • Partner with HR business partners and business teams to interpret data and provide insights on key HR metrics, including turnover and employee survey results
  • Support HR with reconciliations, data requests, and ad‑hoc reporting
  • Conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy within HR systems and alignment with HR policies and applicable regulations
  • Monitor key risk indicators and support audit, controls, and compliance testing requests
  • Assist in responding to employee inquiries and promote employee and manager self‑service capabilities

Process Standards & Optimization

  • Collaborate across the HR function to review end‑to‑end processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for optimization and automation
  • Champion the documentation and long‑term sustainability of HR processes and procedures, ensuring clear ownership and ongoing maintenance
  • Ensure HR processes align with internal controls, audit expectations, and relevant regulatory requirements; provide documentation and reporting as needed
  • Partner with risk and control stakeholders to strengthen governance and mitigate operational risks

HRIS (Human Resources Information System)

  • In collaboration with HR colleagues, manage data flows between the HR system and external vendors, including monitoring regular interfaces
  • Participate in system upgrades, new feature releases, and enhancement initiatives
  • Raise system issues and submit configuration change requests as required
  • Perform user acceptance testing, document outcomes, and support rollout communications or training materials
  • Ensure ongoing data accuracy within the HR system
  • Execute HR system transactions and act as backup support for HR Operations

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Analytics, and HR Systems, preferably within an international or complex organization
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with a leading HRIS platform, with the ability to understand system configuration and workflows
  • Experience in process management, including mapping workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting employee visa, work authorization, or immigration‑related administrative processes is a plus
