Sr. HR Technology Manager

Position Summary
The Senior Manager, HR Technology serves as the operational leader of the HR Technology function, responsible for translating enterprise HR priorities into scalable, high-quality execution.
Reporting to the Director of HR Shared Services, this role acts as a strategic partner, ensuring initiatives are delivered with rigor, sound governance, and sustainable design — while building and elevating a high-performing HR Technology team.
This leader will drive automation, simplify business processes, enhance field self-service capabilities, and reduce reliance on centralized administrative support through thoughtful system design, disciplined execution, and strong operational oversight.
Core Expectations
• Translate enterprise HR Technology priorities into structured, executable delivery plans
• Own day-to-day governance and operational performance of Workday and supporting HR platforms (including integrations and vendor-supported systems)
• Design and sustain a scalable HR Technology operating model, including intake governance, prioritization frameworks, release management, and production support standards
• Provide independent judgment and sound decision-making with minimal oversight
• Elevate the technical, analytical, and strategic capability of the HR Technology team, with a strong focus on upskilling and succession readiness
• Drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement across systems and business processes
• Improve end-user and field experience through system optimization and thoughtful design
• Ensure strong system security governance, data integrity, and compliance alignment
• Manage vendor performance, service levels, and enhancement opportunities to maximize value
• Present solution options with clear tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
• Ensure initiatives are delivered well — not just delivered on time — with attention to quality, sustainability, and best practices
• Serve as a trusted advisor and execution partner to senior and executive leadership
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or related discipline, or equivalent experience required
Job Requirements / Experience
• Active Workday Certification required
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience across multiple functional areas, required experience with Security and Business Process design and configuration
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within HRIS or HR Technology
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into operational execution
• Strong change management capability and stakeholder leadership skills
• Experience partnering effectively with senior and executive leadership
• Proven ability to improve processes through automation, governance, and system design
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
Preferred:
• Retail or hospitality industry experience
• Experience leading large-scale Workday implementations or major system optimizations
