About the Opportunity:

The organization is a leading registry, e-commerce, and content platform serving growing families. The Senior Director, Talent & Rewards Strategy, is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping talent acquisition, total rewards, and growth planning through a unified people strategy. This role leads Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards teams to attract exceptional talent, retain top performers, and scale the business responsibly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards teams with a unified strategy connecting hiring, compensation, benefits, and retention

• Ensure recruiters accurately represent compensation and benefits offerings

• Partner with Finance, Legal, and People leadership to align headcount planning, compensation strategy, and business goals

• Design compensation and benefit programs to attract and retain top performers

• Lead headcount and capacity planning with business leaders and Finance

• Set performance expectations and provide strategic direction to Talent Acquisition team to meet hiring plans and quality standards

• Ensure team structure, capabilities, and resources meet recruiting demands

• Build and evolve long-term recruiting strategy aligned with business growth

• Refine recruiting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality

• Enhance interview practices to evaluate core competencies, problem-solving, adaptability, and learning mindset

• Develop interview training programs for consistent assessment by hiring teams

• Analyze hiring outcomes to optimize recruiting strategies

• Define Talent Acquisition metrics and reporting for organizational visibility

• Maintain clear tracking of role status and open positions

• Assess talent needs rapidly and fill organizational gaps

• Provide strong perspective on staffing agency partnerships for various populations and leave coverage

• Own corporate and executive compensation strategy

• Oversee recruiting strategy and execution with external market insight

• Break down traditional processes to reimagine hiring and rewards for current and future needs

Requirements:

• Senior leadership experience managing both Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards or deep expertise in one with strong knowledge of the other

• Proven track record building and leading recruiting organizations with accountability and results

• Deep knowledge of compensation strategy for corporate, engineering, and executive roles

• Experience working with external compensation consultants and handling complex compensation decisions

• Aptitude with AI applications related to talent acquisition and total rewards

• Strong business and financial acumen

• Ability to translate complex recruiting and compensation concepts into clear, practical guidance

• Strategic thinker who is also hands-on and execution-oriented

• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly to address gaps

• Clear and trusted communicator with executives, managers, recruiters, and employees
