Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the HR leader for the Westborough manufacturing site and provides support to two additional U.S. manufacturing locations. This role partners closely with site leadership to drive HR strategy, ensure legal compliance, strengthen employee engagement, and support business objectives.
The HRBP will oversee employee relations, performance management, recruiting strategy, compensation, HRIS administration, training initiatives, and organizational development efforts. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leadership and a liaison between employees and management, promoting a positive culture aligned with NEOTech values.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned manufacturing sites
- Promote NEOTech culture and values across the organization
- Advise and counsel managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Mentor leaders on performance management and employee relations matters
- Ensure consistent, fair application of policies and legal compliance
- Proactively monitor federal and state law changes and ensure compliance
- Address and resolve employee concerns while maintaining confidentiality
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment activities
- Lead the annual performance review and goal-setting process
- Partner with managers to develop SMART goals and succession plans
- Identify departmental strengths and development opportunities
- Develop and deliver HR, leadership, and management training
- Support employee engagement and development initiatives
- Partner with Head of HR to develop recruiting and retention strategies
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create recruiting and interview plans
- Efficiently fill open positions and build pipelines of qualified candidates
- Identify and recommend sourcing strategies for active and passive talent
- Conduct follow-ups to evaluate recruiting effectiveness
- Participate in salary surveys and support compensation analysis activities
- Research and analyze HR data to support strategic initiatives and non-routine HR projects
- Make data-driven recommendations regarding policy, procedure, and process improvements
- Support implementation of approved HR initiatives and organizational changes
- Track, analyze, and report on key HR metrics and progress of HR programs
- Actively improve and automate processes within the Paycom HRIS
- Train managers and employees on HRIS functionality and system enhancements
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field required
- Minimum 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience at the exempt level
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, organizational development, training, and employee relations
- Experience in a high-technology and/or production environment preferred
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Compensation experience required
- Experience using HRIS systems required
- Experience supporting California-based employees with strong knowledge of California labor laws, benefits administration, and compliance requirements strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (Wage & Hour, LOAs, Workers’ Compensation, Recruiting, etc.)
- Familiarity with Affirmative Action Plans and compliance activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- PHR or SPHR certification a plus
