People & Culture Delivery Manager

Contract Role | Transformation Programme

Location: London Hybrid

Duration – 3 months initially

Competitive Day Rate (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Delivery Manager to play a critical role in a high-profile employee transfer programme within a major financial services organisation.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role requiring someone who can step in immediately, take ownership of the workstream, and drive it through to completion.

The Role

You will lead the People & Culture workstream as part of a large-scale employee transfer occurring simultaneously across multiple areas of the business. This is a complex change environment where strong governance, pace and stakeholder management are essential.

A key element of this role is TUPE expertise. Proven experience managing TUPE transfers is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the People & Culture workstream end-to-end
  • Develop and drive the detailed delivery plan
  • Manage risks, dependencies and critical milestones
  • Ensure TUPE compliance and best practice throughout
  • Coordinate stakeholders across HR, business leadership and programme teams
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to agreed timelines and deliverables
  • Provide clear reporting, governance updates and escalation management
  • Bring structure, pace and discipline to the programme

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience leading HR or People workstreams within complex transformation programmes
  • Demonstrable TUPE expertise (essential)
  • Proven ability to “come in and lead” – confident, decisive and delivery-focused
  • Experience managing simultaneous employee transfers or large-scale organisational change
  • Strong risk management and governance capability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – able to challenge, influence and drive action
  • Resilient, pragmatic and comfortable operating in high-pressure environments
