Company Description

PowerWood is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Western Red and Alaskan Yellow Cedar products. From a one-person company in 1995, we have grown to over 50 employees at our remanufacturing facility in Agassiz, BC. Our facility is set up to follow the entire process from raw material to the finished product, producing quality lumber, specialty products, and custom patterns.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Agassiz, BC, with minimum 3 days per week in office. We are eeking a business professional with a passion for organizational excellence. This includes a role on the leadership team implementing company vision and leading a small team of professionals focused on continuous improvment of systems and analysis . The succesful candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales, operations and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience and/or education in business, team leadership, or analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in and improving company utilization of ERP and/or Project Managment Software
  • Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing financial and/or manufacturing results
  • Selected candidate will be responsible for holding the professional level staff of the organization accountable for properly measuring and communicating KPIs and delivering on goals and themes set during quarterly and annual planning meetings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, manufacturing and leadership teams
  • Experience in manufacturing, the lumber or construction industry is a plus
  • Experience and/or education in Digital Marketing, Market Research, or related field
