People & Culture Manager (Hybrid)

We are now seeking a strategic and visible People & Culture Manager to lead our regional People function and partner closely with senior leadership to shape a high-performing, future-ready organization.

The Opportunity

As the senior regional People leader, you will influence leadership decision-making, strengthen culture, and translate business priorities into actionable People strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while ensuring operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle.

You will also collaborate globally, contributing insights and execution support to TTC’s broader People strategy.

What You’ll Lead

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent strategy
  • Translate business goals into clear People plans that drive engagement and accountability
  • Lead change initiatives and support leaders through transformation
  • Elevate leadership capability through coaching and structured development

Culture & Engagement

  • Embed TTC’s Values into leadership expectations and performance conversations
  • Design and lead engagement initiatives to strengthen inclusion and retention
  • Use workforce data and engagement insights to proactively identify trends and risks
  • Ensure policies and programs reflect best practices and compliance standards

Talent & Workforce Strategy

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to align hiring with workforce plans
  • Advise on compensation positioning, internal equity, and retention strategies
  • Strengthen onboarding and succession planning initiatives
  • Build long-term organizational resilience through thoughtful talent development

Employee Relations & Risk Leadership

  • Provide strategic oversight of employee relations matters
  • Guide leaders through complex performance management and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian employment legislation
  • Oversee accommodations, leave management, and termination processes with professionalism and care

Global Collaboration

  • Contribute regional workforce insights to global People initiatives
  • Act as a bridge between enterprise strategy and regional execution

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in an HR leadership or people management role
  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and complex case management
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation (multi-provincial experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior leadership
  • Experience contributing to global or cross-regional HR initiatives
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or related field
  • CHRP or CHRL designation strongly preferred

Location & Travel

  • Hybrid work model (2 days per week in office; additional presence for SLT meetings as required)
  • Minimal travel, including potential international travel 2–3 times per year

Salary - $100,000 - $115,000 CAD
