Program Manager - HRIS
One Model
Multi‑Year Program | Greenfield Initiative | Executive Visibility | Brisbane
A major not‑for‑profit organisation is embarking on a once‑in‑a‑generation People Experience transformation, redesigning the entire hire‑to‑retire lifecycle and implementing a modern HR technology platform from the ground up.
This is a high‑impact, greenfield opportunity to lead a full organisational uplift spanning HR, payroll, workforce management, digital capability, operating model, processes, data and culture. The transformation will touch every employee — from frontline support workers and mobile staff through to corporate teams and leaders — making this one of the most influential people‑experience programs currently running in the NFP sector.
Why This Role Is Different
- It’s genuinely greenfield — no legacy program, no recovery mission, no constraints. You are building the roadmap, structures, and delivery model from scratch.
- Direct executive access — you will work closely with the ELT, influence decisions at the highest level, and have a visible organisational impact.
- Enterprise-wide transformation — the work spans every part of the organisation, giving you breadth, complexity, and scale.
- Multi-year runway — this is a long-term transformation, giving you time and ownership to see strategy through to delivery.
- Full accountability — you’ll have autonomy to shape governance, delivery approach, team structure, vendor relationships and program direction.
- Purpose-driven impact — your work will directly improve the experience of frontline staff who deliver essential services to the community.
You Are An Experienced Program Leader Who Has Delivered Complex HRIS Or People-experience Transformations In Large, Multi‑site Environments. You Bring

- Deep capability managing multi‑vendor ecosystems, integration requirements, data migration, workflow design, and technology‑enabled change.
- Strong background in business and process redesign across HR, payroll, onboarding, talent, workforce management or employee experience programs.
- A proven ability to drive large-scale organisational change, readiness uplift and user‑centred design.
- Exceptional stakeholder leadership, with confidence navigating executives, operational leaders, unions (if applicable), and frontline teams.
- A calm, credible leadership presence with the ability to bring alignment, pace and clarity across diverse groups.
