About the role

The People & Culture Generalist provides strategic and operational HR support across the full employment lifecycle, enhancing the employee experience, strengthening culture, and ensuring processes are delivered efficiently and in compliance with legislation.

It’s a hands on, trusted advisor role where you’ll balance strategy with delivery, own meaningful initiatives end to end, and help a growing global organisation do people practices really well.

Key Responsibilities

People Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Partner with business leaders and people managers to implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, providing expert guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Build organisational capability through targeted coaching, feedback, and the development of peoplefocused frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance and proactive risk management across multiple global jurisdictions, including Australia, the UK, USA, Asia.

Change Management & Compliance

  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, transfers, and team transitions.
  • Develop, maintain, and embed consistent and compliant HR policies with minimal oversight.
  • Champion workplace health, safety, and wellbeing by promoting best practice standards and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Design and optimise the full employee lifecycle—from attraction and onboarding through to engagement, development, and offboarding.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of employee experience programs, driving continuous improvement through feedback, KPIs, and industry insights.
  • Plan and deliver engagement initiatives such as events, wellbeing programs, and recognition activities to strengthen culture and morale.
  • Facilitate development programs, team offsites, and organisational initiatives that enhance wellbeing, collaboration, and growth.

People Operations Oversight

  • Provide oversight and coaching to the Office Manager to ensure HR administration is accurate, efficient, and compliant with policy and legislation.
  • Support the Talent Lead during periods of leave or high recruitment volume to ensure seamless continuity of service.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex small/mid‑size HR function is beneficial.
  • Strong capability in employee relations, HR policy interpretation, and partnering with leaders.
  • Ability to operate autonomously across remote and hybrid teams in multiple jurisdictions.
  • A commitment to building a positive employee experience and high performing, inclusive workplace culture.
  • A proven ability to utilise data and translate this into business needs and people programs.
  • Ability to cover the recruitment function when the Talent Lead is on leave or in periods of high volumes.
