The People and Culture Advisor will be responsible for contributing to and implementing HR initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals. Daily responsibilities include supporting recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, coordinating training programs, providing guidance on employee relations, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Additionally, the role involves fostering a positive workplace culture and assisting with performance management processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee support
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in HR software and office tools
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Collaborative approach and a keen interest in fostering a positive workplace environment
• Experience in community or social services is a preferred skill
