We have an opportunity for a Senior People Operations Advisor, to join our People & Culture team. This is a fixed term role, full time, for a period of 12 months and can be based from our Perth or Sydney office.

Reporting to the People Operations Lead, this role plays a key part in delivering a broad and complex range of employee lifecycle activities. This position will suit candidates with sound knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee movements, condition changes, and offboarding and is looking for further exposure to complex HR operations while working alongside a strong and collaborative team.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Process day to day HR operations across the employee lifecycle from onboarding, employee movements, condition changes, to offboarding.
  • Be a point of contact and escalation for the People team and business managers for general HR queries, internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Manage more complex life cycle processes such as onboarding of senior-level hires, sensitive exits and non-standard arrangements.
  • Maintain consistent, compliant, high‑standard and timely HR support and service delivery across the business.
  • Coordinate international transfers including processing inter-regional visas, sponsorships and right to work compliance for the APAC region.
  • Interpreting industry awards and legislation to provide guidance to managers and employees and collaborating with the Business Partnering team to process redundancies and terminations
  • Apply knowledge of APAC legislation and entitlements including parental leave and long service leave to guide policy development and ensure alignment with legislative updates.

Skills And Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in People Operations, HR, or a related field with a relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, award interpretation, and compliance requirements across APAC region
  • Advanced understanding of HR systems (Workday experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Highly organised, self‑directed, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated capability in optimising process and operational problem solving
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and service excellence
