About The Role
GovCIO is seeking a dedicated HRIS Analyst to join our HRIS Team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in supporting a wide range of HRIS functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data, and facilitating smooth HR operations. As an HRIS Analyst, you will work closely with HR teams, payroll, and other stakeholders to process employee data changes, perform system audits, and troubleshoot HRIS modules. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of HR procedures, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (0-2 years preferred)
- Basic knowledge of human resources functions including benefits, leave of absences, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, and SCA management
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with MS SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Costpoint, ADP, ICIMS, or similar platforms (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent judgment and ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Process employee data transactions including promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, hires, terminations, and other personnel changes
- Manage employee leave records and ensure accurate system updates
- Oversee SCA transitions and related HRIS processes
- Ensure workflows, approvals, and notifications are functioning as designed within the HRIS system
- Perform regular data audits to maintain system accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with HR Coordinators, HR Business Partners, and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across modules such as onboarding, offboarding, and recruiting
- Assist with employee data entry and ongoing system maintenance tasks
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation for HRIS procedures
- Provide backup support for other HRIS personnel as needed
- Maintain confidential personnel files and handle personnel actions with discretion
