This role serves as a key operational support function within the People Operations team, managing the HR inbox, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and supporting day-to-day people programs. What You’ll Do

HR Inbox & Employee Requests

  • Manage the HR inbox, responding promptly and accurately to employee inquiries
  • Route complex or sensitive requests to the People Operations Specialist or Sr. Manager as needed
  • Track common questions and trends to improve FAQs, guides, and employee resources

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate background checks, new hire paperwork, and system access setup
  • Schedule first-day activities and communicate clearly with new hires and managers
  • Prepare termination letters, job abandonment notices, and exit documentation
  • Ensure smooth, consistent, and compliant onboarding and offboarding experiences

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Maintain accurate employee files and digital records in UKG Ready
  • Support compliance activities, including required postings and reporting
  • Assist with updating HR process manuals, SOPs, and internal documentation

HR Communications

  • Draft clear, timely HR communications for employees
  • Support managers by creating quick-reference guides and resources
  • Leverage AI tools to help streamline communication drafting and workflow organization

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years of HR, People Operations, or related experience (internships count)
  • Intermediate Excel skills (spreadsheets, lookups, pivot tables)
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to draft communications, organize data, and improve efficiency
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (UKG Ready preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer-service mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR coursework or certification a plus)

Compensation Range: $55K - $65K
