The HRIS Team Lead provides strategic oversight and administration of the organization’s HR systems, with primary responsibility for UKG. This role leads the HRIS function, ensures data integrity and compliance, supports payroll and benefits processes, and drives continuous system improvement. The position partners cross-functionally to enhance user experience, strengthen governance, and support growth initiatives, including system integrations.

Worksite Location: Hybrid – Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 + 10% bonus potential

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Must have Mergers and Acquisitions and UKG Pro
  • Lead and oversee HRIS strategy, configuration, governance, and ongoing optimization
  • Serve as subject matter expert for UKG, including Core HR, Benefits, and Workforce Management modules
  • Support payroll configuration and multi-state compliance requirements
  • Ensure data integrity, system security, and audit readiness
  • Lead system integrations and data migrations related to organizational growth initiatives
  • Develop scalable processes and documentation to support operational consistency
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders
  • Manage vendor relationships and system enhancements
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HRIS team

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of HCM/HRIS experience, including hands-on UKG experience
  • Experience leading system implementations, integrations, or data migrations
  • Strong payroll systems knowledge in a multi-state environment
  • Demonstrated leadership or team oversight experience
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting acquisitions or organizational integrations (preferred)
  • Background in change management and user training (preferred)
