Why This Role MattersWe’re looking for a People Operations Associate to support and strengthen our People function in the UK. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, solving problems, and making sure the fundamentals of People Ops run smoothly.
You’ll be the go-to person for many of the day-to-day People operations activities in the UK, ensuring we remain compliant with UK employment law, supporting employees and managers, and helping us continuously improve how we operate as a team.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day People Operations processes for the UK team, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience.
- Act as a key point of contact for UK employees and managers on People policies, procedures, and general HR queries.
- Ensure all processes are aligned with UK employment law and best practice, including contracts, policies, disciplinary processes, and employee relations matters.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation, systems, and compliance requirements are handled properly.
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and ensure records are always up-to-date and audit-ready.
- Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and any People-related documentation required by Finance or external providers.
- Support employee relations cases where required, helping managers navigate issues in line with UK labour regulations and company policies.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and streamline People processes as the company grows.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a People Operations / HR role, ideally in a fast-growing company.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential.
- Comfortable managing People processes independently while partnering closely with managers and the wider People team.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail. You enjoy bringing structure to fast-moving environments.
- Confident communicator who can handle sensitive employee matters professionally and with empathy.
- Experience working with HR systems and payroll processes.
- Someone who enjoys building and improving processes, not just maintaining them.
