Keen to step up and partner with our offshore SMS team, managing escalations, driving P&C projects and initiatives?

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive People & Culture Coordinator to support the broader P&C Business Partnering team with a strong focus on partnering with our offshore SMS team. You’ll be acting as their main point of contact, handling escalations, and keeping communication flowing.

Alongside coordinating P&C projects and core admin deliverables, you’ll also jump into key calendar activities, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Shared Services at our head office in Sydney to keep our people operations running smoothly.

Please note that this is 12-month fixed term contract position.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the go-to support for our offshore SMS team by running regular check-ins, provide training, feedback and to build capability them while drafting key communications and templates.
  • Own P&C processes, suggesting improvements, and ensuring smooth, compliant operations across the board.
  • Supporting workforce planning, L&D, succession, employee relations, and pay queries under guidance from P&C leadership.
  • Provide coaching to stakeholders on P&C processes, helping execute our P&C strategy, and driving calendar activities.
  • Developing contracts, maintaining key documents, and handling complex administrative work for your defined portfolio.

What you’ll bring:

You’re highly organised with sharp time management and prioritisation skills, bringing a proactive, solution-focused mindset, and delivering standout customer service while building trusted relationships across the business. Detail-driven, flexible and pragmatic, you act with integrity, communicate openly and a team player. You’ll also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business (or related disciplines) with at least 2 years' experience in P&C or administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, its interpretation and implementation.
  • Experienced in handling complex, sensitive matters with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to succeed in operational fast-moving, complex environments.
  • An interest or experience in data analytics and insights, plus project management exposure is desirable but not essential.
