We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to oversee and enhance all aspects of the HR function within our client's organization. This position requires a strategic leader who will drive improvements in policies, processes, and HR structures to align with organizational goals. Based in Hartselle, Alabama, this is a long-term consulting/ contract opportunity offering a chance to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and refine existing HR policies to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize HR processes and systems.

• Lead the creation and standardization of organizational structures and HR shared services.

• Oversee employee relations initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace.

• Manage compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitive and equitable offerings.

• Design and execute succession planning strategies to support long-term organizational growth.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

• Partner with leadership to drive HR strategies that support business priorities.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR team to enhance their effectiveness.

• Extensive experience in human resources leadership, including policy development and process improvement.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, compensation, and benefits management.
• Strong background in succession planning and organizational development.
• Ability to create and implement HR shared services frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
