2. About the Opportunity:

The People Operations Manager will act as the product manager for the global People technology ecosystem. This role ensures seamless integration and scalability of HR and operational systems, bridging People, Finance, and IT teams. The position is critical in maintaining secure, efficient, and user-friendly systems that empower employees and leadership with accurate data and insights. This role drives system improvements, manages workflows, and leads feature rollouts to support the organization’s growth and operational excellence.

3. Responsibilities:

• Lead configuration and administration of the primary HR system (Workday) with integrations to ATS, performance, background check, and communication tools

• Apply a product management approach to ownership, project timelines, governance, and system releases

• Conduct user interviews to identify pain points and drive system adoption

• Design workflows to reduce escalation and increase employee self-service

• Manage Jira service queue for People Systems, triaging and resolving complex issues

• Partner with IT to build and monitor system integrations, preventing data silos

• Ensure data is audit-ready and provides actionable insights to leadership

• Manage employee data security, conduct access audits, and maintain compliance with global privacy standards

• Lead rollout of new features and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures

• Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours due to remote, global operations

4. Requirements:

• 5+ years in People Systems/HRIS with 3+ years configuring Workday (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Security)

• Experience managing projects from problem identification to solution launch

• Product management mindset for People technology systems

• Experience with Talent Acquisition, Performance/Engagement, and Tier 1-3 Ticketing tools

• Knowledge of EIBs, REST/SOAP APIs, and iPaaS tools for troubleshooting integrations

• Understanding of data architecture and field connectivity across platforms for data integrity

• Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to diverse users

• Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours due to time zones

Nice to Have:

• Workday Pro Certifications (Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Reporting)

• Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics

• Familiarity with Slack integrations and Workflow Builder

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range is $108,000 to $170,000, dependent on geographic location and candidate experience

• Competitive salary with benefits including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays and PTO, fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for discretionary company-wide bonus
