2. About the Opportunity:

The Manager of People Operations leads the design and operation of the organization’s People Operations systems, focusing on embedding AI-driven automation and workflows to streamline hiring, onboarding, and employee support across multiple countries. Reporting to the VP of People, this role is crucial for scaling the People function efficiently by architecting AI-augmented processes that reduce manual work and enhance operational effectiveness.

3. Responsibilities:

• Architect and enhance the end-to-end People Operations and Talent Acquisition (TA) processes using AI agents and workflows.

• Design AI agents to manage routine tasks such as onboarding coordination, compliance documentation, offer letter creation, interview scheduling, and handling tier-1 employee inquiries.

• Utilize AI to monitor and ensure HR compliance across six countries, including risk detection and regulatory updates.

• Develop AI-powered reporting and analytics for People and TA functions to provide actionable insights.

• Oversee the integration and management of HRIS, ATS, and People technology platforms with an AI-focused approach.

• Support TA functions with AI-enabled pipeline forecasting, data integrity, and funnel reporting.

• Manage benefits administration and vendor relationships within the US entity using AI to optimize processes.

• Implement AI-driven solutions to improve employee experience and preemptively address lifecycle friction points.

• Lead AI-based process documentation and knowledge management for People Operations.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Legal through AI-augmented workflows for cross-functional operations.

• Train and mentor People team members on AI tools, automation, and agent design.

• Ensure ethical and compliant AI governance aligned with handling sensitive employee and candidate information.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in People Operations or HR Operations with leadership exposure.

• Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology environments and understanding global, multi-entity People functions.

• Hands-on expertise with AI tools, agent builders, and agentic workflows, including building and maintaining operational AI agents.

• Strong technical skills with APIs, integrations, automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n), and prompt engineering.

• Preferably experience with multi-country HR operations across regions such as the US, UK, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, or the Philippines.

• Proven ability to redesign operations with a focus on automation rather than incremental changes.

• Knowledge of US benefits administration and compliance (ACA, ERISA basics).

• Understanding of HR compliance in multiple jurisdictions with prudent judgment on AI versus human task ownership.

• Data literacy in building operational dashboards and interpreting hiring funnel metrics.
