Director – Organizational Development & Leadership Development

Salary Range: $131,000 – $171,000 annually + potential sign-on bonus

Requirements to Apply

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Adult Education, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, leadership development, or enterprise workforce development
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide leadership and learning strategies
  • Proven ability to partner directly with executive and senior leaders to guide organizational change, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Experience owning leadership pipelines, talent review processes, and workforce capability frameworks across complex organizations
  • Strong foundation in organizational diagnostics, change management, and effectiveness measurement

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large, complex healthcare systems or other multi-site, regulated organizations
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience implementing or optimizing learning technologies or learning management systems
  • Background leading large-scale change management or culture transformation initiatives

Job Overview

This system-level leadership role is responsible for strengthening leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and workforce readiness across the Aspirus Health system. The Director partners closely with executive leadership, HR teams, and physician leaders to design and execute enterprise strategies that support leadership development, succession planning, and long-term organizational performance.

The role provides system ownership of leadership development programs, talent review and succession processes, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across hospitals, physician groups, and corporate service areas. This is not a program management or facilitation-only role; the Director is accountable for strategy, execution, and measurable impact.

In addition, this leader guides change management efforts, supports executive leaders with organizational design and transformation initiatives, and ensures leadership and development programs drive improved engagement, performance, and leadership readiness across the system.
