This role will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our payroll & HRIS processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the business. The position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and will serve as a key partner in building a best-in-class HR infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution for all employees
- Oversee HRIS strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure seamless integration of systems, processes, and reporting
- Establish and maintain payroll controls, audits, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Serve as the primary administrator for HRIS platforms, including system configuration, data integrity, and reporting
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll and HRIS processes
- Support benefits administration, deductions, and related system integrations
- Provide reporting and analytics to support business and leadership decision-making
- Assist in vendor management and evaluation of HR technology solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of payroll management experience required
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems; ADP experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting multi-site or manufacturing environments preferred
- Proven ability to build processes and systems in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
