About This Role

You're the difference behind great leaders, thriving teams and safe, supported campuses.

Find the balance you've been looking for - and the impact you've been missing.

In this permanent part‑time role, you'll work 4 to 5 condensed days per week with flexibility around how those hours are structured. It's an ideal opportunity if you're returning to work, balancing study or family commitments, or simply choosing wellbeing - without stepping back from meaningful, influential work.

Here, your judgment, calm leadership and people expertise truly make the difference: supporting leaders to do the right thing, strengthening culture across campuses, and ultimately improving outcomes for children and families.

The opportunity

As a trusted People & Culture Partner, you'll work alongside Regional and Campus Leaders to deliver pragmatic, high‑quality people advice across employee relations, performance and culture.

You'll be the steady hand in complex moments - coaching leaders through difficult conversations, guiding fair and consistent processes, and embedding best‑practice people approaches in a fast‑paced, values‑led environment where what you do genuinely matters.

What You'll Do (a Snapshot)

  • Partner with Regional and Campus Leaders to solve complex people challenges and lift leadership capability.
  • Provide confident ER guidance (policy, Modern Awards, Fair Work) and manage investigations, performance and conduct matters end‑to‑end.
  • Coach leaders to address under‑performance early with clear plans and constructive conversations.
  • Identify emerging people risks across multiple campuses and implement proactive, practical solutions.
  • Facilitate capability‑building through workshops and on‑the‑spot coaching to embed great people practices.
  • Support the performance cycle and succession planning to grow future leaders and strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Maintain strong documentation and case management to minimise risk and enable great decisions.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor in a high‑volume, operational environment.
  • Strong ER capability, including investigations, performance management and terminations, with sound legislative and Award interpretation.
  • Calm, pragmatic judgment and a solutions‑focused, human approach.
  • The ability to build trust quickly, influence confidently and partner credibly with leaders.
  • A collaborative style that strengthens a high‑performing, supportive People & Culture team.
