We’re looking for an experienced HRIS Test Lead to join us on a 6‑month contract, playing a pivotal role in delivering our HRIS/Payroll transformation. This is a high‑impact opportunity for someone who thrives in fast‑paced project environments, enjoys bringing structure to complexity, and wants to contribute meaningfully to a business‑critical implementation. You’ll work hands‑on across HRIS and payroll testing — with experience in Workday HCM and ADP Lyric highly advantageous — driving test planning, execution and defect management across multiple stages of the program. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Technology, Finance, Operations and external vendors to ensure our new solution is accurate, reliable and ready for go‑live.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, scenarios and scripts across HCM Core, Time & Attendance and Payroll
  • Lead end‑to‑end testing cycles including SIT, Payroll Parallel Testing and E2E validation
  • Support and guide UAT for business stakeholders
  • Manage defects from identification through to closure, collaborating with vendors, SMEs and internal teams
  • Validate integrations and downstream workflows to ensure data accuracy and process consistency
  • Maintain documentation and traceability across requirements, scenarios and outcomes
  • Identify blockers early and coordinate solutions to keep testing on track in a fast‑moving environment
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Technology, Finance and Operations to deliver a seamless implementation

What You’ll Bring

  • Hands‑on HRIS/Payroll testing experience (Workday HCM & ADP Lyric highly advantageous)
  • Strong background in end‑to‑end HR, payroll and integration testing
  • Experience delivering Payroll Parallel Testing
  • Proven ability to manage complex defect cycles and work effectively with vendors
  • Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills
  • Confidence working in dynamic, time‑sensitive project environments
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, IT, Business or a related discipline (certifications a bonus)
