The Opportunity

SouthWorth is seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused People Operations Associate to support recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day people operations across our portfolio of agencies.

This role is ideal for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and creating a positive experience for candidates and employees alike. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, agency leaders, and the HR team to support hiring efforts and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with strong growth potential for someone interested in talent acquisition and people operations within the advertising agency space.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Support

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and open roles
  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, outreach, scheduling, phone screens, and interview coordination
  • Help identify strong candidates across account service, creative, strategy, media, and corporate functions
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and support proactive talent outreach efforts
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with offer coordination and pre-employment activities

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding activities from offer acceptance through new hire start date
  • Prepare onboarding schedules, materials, and logistics for new employees
  • Lead portions of new hire orientation and ensure employees are set up for success on day one
  • Partner with hiring managers to support a smooth transition into the team
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding

People Operations Support

  • Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding records within HR systems and ATS platforms
  • Support reporting, tracking, and administrative HR processes as needed
  • Assist with special projects related to recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, and people operations
  • Help drive consistency and organization across hiring and onboarding practices

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, people operations, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Interest in recruiting, employee experience, and agency culture
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, ADP, or onboarding systems is a plus
